Cinematic Wedding Films

We love to travel but anywhere outside of 30 minutes from Columbia, MO requires the Gold or Ultimate package. There will be additional fees for travel further than the St. Louis or Kansas City areas. Destination wedding travel fees will be negotiated.

A $1,000 deposit will be due with your signed contract to hold your date. Work is completed in preparation of event as well as other business forgone, therefore, initial payment is non-refundable.

We don't carry around a stop watch if that's what you're asking. We try to make sure we capture everything we can to make a wedding film that will be treasured for years to come, but we do ask that you choose an appropriate package to match your expectations. If we need to stay longer to capture significant events during the reception, you will be charge for the additional hours of coverage at $150/hour.

We're pretty flexible to your requests but normally we create a 6-7 minute cinematic highlight film of the best parts of your day! It will be synchronized to fully-licensed music. We will post to our social media accounts a short teaser film within 72 hours. We also offer a basic-edit full ceremony and basic-edit full speeches for an additional fee. All videos will be available on your own webpage on our Byler Media website with a password-protected download link.

Filming in 4K for an entire day with multiple cameras can create a LOT of footage. We normally capture upwards of 200gb of data on a wedding day (that's a lot)! We take that footage and pull all the unforgettable parts for your highlight film. Often, what you don't see are multiple angles of the same scene, shaky or blurry footage or some amazing footage of the ground/our shoes :( All that said, we don't normally provide the raw footage. (If there's a specific reason you absolutely have to have all the footage, we can talk, and there will be a $500 fee.)

Music is a popular question around here! We have to make sure we properly license the music we use in our films. We currently have access to a large library of pre-licensed music we can use for our films. It's really good and works well for wedding films!

Shooting a wedding all day is exhausting! We kindly request a meal of equal quality as served to your guests in the same room that the bridal party is eating - immediately after the bridal party/family is served. We don't film while you're eating so we want to be ready to go when you're finished!

Work is completed in preparation of the event as well as other business forgone, therefore, the initial payment is non-refundable. If you reschedule within 30 days from booking, your deposit can be transfered to your new date.

In the case that an additional videographer is present to help capture your day, they may or may not be present for the entire duration the 1st videographer is present. We don't normally use 2nd shooters.

We will mic the groom and officiant with a lapel mic during the ceremony. If necessary, we can mic the speech givers as well (not for live public broadcast). If possible, we will connect to the MC or DJ's audio system to record directly from their mics.

1. Reservation of Byler Media’s services are guaranteed only upon receiving the signed contract and initial $1000 payment.

2. The balance is due one month before the wedding date.

3. Byler Media reserves the right to use video for promotional purposes.

4. If event is cancelled, deposit is non-refundable except in extenuating circumstances at Byler Media’s sole discretion.

5. A meal of equal quality as served to guests will be provided to videographer(s) in the same room as the reception at the same time the bridal party eats. This is to ensure no missed opportunity for footage.

6. Byler Media LLC takes the utmost care in the services offered. However, if for any reason, including mechanical failure, human error, or even negligence by the videographer, the video fails to fulfill the contract agreement, maximum liability will be a refund of the original amount paid.

7. The video will be completed no later than 3 months after the wedding date but will most likely be sooner.

8. Most clips are recorded and edited in 4K UHD resolution. The full 4K resolution will be viewable on YouTube or digital file.

9. 2nd videographer, when included in package, may not be present for the full duration of the contracted time.
