Can we use a different web host than Squarespace?

We certainly can! I have used Squarespace to make many websites and their hosting is great! If your site is very e-commerce heavy, we can also look at using Shopify.

How does your pricing work?

We will meet and discuss what you want your site to do. Once I have a idea on how much time commitment it will take, I will give you a quote for the project. I request 1/2 payment upfront to start work and the remaining (including any additional agreed-upon extra) at completion.

You also pay Squarespace (or another host) directly, yearly for hosting. This fee varies upon how large the site is. Your domain name (URL) is included free for the first year (restrictions apply, based upon availability. There may be an extra fee for some domain names.) You are responsible for subsequent yearly fees of around $20.

How do we share digital files and assets during the project?

I use Dropbox to share files. We will share a folder that you can add files to at any time.

How will I change things on my site once it's finished?

Changing pictures, texts and store inventory is very easy to keep up with. Let's say you hire a new person for your business that you want to show on your site. I will walk you through the process as part of our post-launch debrief.
